NORTHRIDGE, CA…SkyDancers International, an innovator in animated inflatable displays for promotional and event use, teamed with Playboy for the nation’s hottest golf event, the 2004 Playboy Scramble. For the event, SkyDancers International provided a 20’ tall animated inflatable golf ball and club used as a backdrop for the events activities.

Amateur golfers from all over came to play in the Playboy Scramble Finals at Industry Hills Golf Course in sunny Southern California. During the two days of golf, celebrity foursomes teed off, Girls of Golf hosted each hole and a few Playmates caddied for lucky golfers. Four television networks, including Spike TV, The Discovery Channel, Fox Sports Net and The Playboy Channel, chronicled the event.

SkyDancers International specializes in the design and manufacturing of custom giant dancing inflatables for hundreds of events For Playboy’s Golf Scramble, SkyDancer company designers took an element of the game and combined it with the Playboy logo in a twenty foot high dancing format. The goal was to create an eye-popping focal point for event attendees.

According to Chris Austin, President of SkyDancers International, “Many of the stars at the event, which included Alfonso Ribeiro from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Kato Kaelin, Terrell Davis and hundreds of Playboy Playmates used the giant dancing inflatables as a backdrop for photo opportunities. Because of their size and constantly changing shape, SkyDancers add a unique design element to events and Playboy’s Scramble is no exception.”
